Motivation Monday #2

Genesis 1:26-31

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Abraham Lincoln

Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a

man's character, give him power.

Peace Pilgrim

If you realized how powerful your thoughts are, you would

never think a negative thought.

Robert Heinlein

Never underestimate the power of human stupidity.

Why is it that people always blame other people for their

situation or circumstances but never take any responsibility

themselves. Everything wrong with you or in your life can't

be someone else's fault all the time.

People constantly blame God and religion or the lack there

of for most of the problems in this world. Really? Genesis

1:28 says that God gave us the power to run this planet.

And what do people do, they shit on it and blame someone

else when it was all of our responsibilities. If we were to

blame God for anything, we should blame him for trusting

his ignorant creations with the simple task of loving each

other and ourselves. We cant even do that right. But hey I

know it's not your fault you can't love people who are white,

black, fat, skinny, poor, not from your hood, funny accent,

smell funny, don't listen to the same music, your parents

told you not to and etc.

When your boss leaves you in charge and things go wrong

do you blame him? Sometimes it's truly no ones fault but

how will we deal with the situation? I'm over weight and who

can I blame? If I want to get in shape, who's responsibility is

that? Instead of focusing on the problems, I will focus on the

solution and the results I want. If I want peace then I must

first show love and peace and then maybe it will rub off on

others. It all starts within you and meThen it starts with

your family, your community, your coworkers and strangers.

There will never be love in this world until we take the

responsibility to start showing it even if no one else does.

Don't blame anyone or judge anyone else until you check

yourself first.
